Thean ... Thanks for the "promised" numbers and expansion. On the valuation question: you try to get feel for consensus and temp perception using TA params, BB's for example? In your post, you suggested looking at "intraday" BB trades ... how do you do that? Is there a website charting service (free, preferably) that would allow me to do that, intraday? Would a good proxy land driller be NBR, IYO? Which others do you favor in this group? To all that are scanning the posts on this thread, I would be interested in opinions as to which of the sectors within the drillers hold the most promise for cap app in 98: land drillers? shallow water? deep/harsh water environs? any other class you care to mention? I'd also like to know wrt deep water drillers, what kind of events (technologically or otherwise) would pose a threat to the companies that focus on this kind of drilling? Naturally, we'd all want to be able to anticipate any signs of trouble on the horizon. How bout you, Mr. Simmons? You seems to have a good understanding of this kind of stuff? Thanx, all ... TS
