Greetings Archie: Glen is, as always, correct. But maybe there is a slightly diffenent way to say it. Mr Thomas said: "Right now, I am talking with 12 different companies for 1998".
Friend Archie, the last thing I want to sound like, or be perceived as, is a cheerleader, however, in regard to your statement of $35 share price by 18 months. I think we will see $30 by 12 to 15 months tops and $35 is a natural thereafter. I say this only based on the rate of growth through aquision. This estimate is not reflecting any revenue or margin growth generated by their biotech program, which will actively get underway once the consolidation phase has been nailed down. Selling high margin, PATENTED seed strains is a money machine. And, Mr Thomas said with a big smile "we intend to VIGORIOUSLY defend any encrochment on our patents, and we will know of any infringement because we WILL put various genetic markers in every varity of patented seed we produce". I LOVE THIS GUY.
Further, Mr Thomas said the only company around which he feels can be even mildly compared with ABTX is DLP. He said, "either they are drastically overvalued or we are drastically undervalued". Friends, check out DLP. Lousy earnings and a pe of about 140. Yes, 140. Check out their chart and earnings history. Delta IS drastically overvalued and ABTX IS drastically undervalued, IMHO only. Now that I think about it, it might be worth pushing some numbers around troops to see if Delta makes the cut as a short. A pe of over 140 Hummmmmmm. I would be very interested to hear others opinion of Delta as a short.
Regards Pete
Bottom line:I sure wouldn't bet AGAINST $35 in 18 months, IMHO only. |
