James, Muse is prostaglandin E1, Cervical gels uses E2. There are no repors of women problems, the FDA clear that before approval.
Prostaglandins are quikly metabolized to inert compounds locally, by the time a man ejaculate it is mostly absorbed and changed into non active compounds.
There is some concern about MCHM product is a gel to be applied to the mucosa and/or skin of the penis, theoretically more chances of giving women a side effect, but not the cramps and cervical stimulation that are associated with PGE2, but redness and itching secondary to vasodilation cause by PGE1 itself. This was reported in Muse users female partners at about 5% in the main study (published in NEJM). It was not establish to be directly due to the Muse use, just an association. Post marketing there are no reports of female partners problems in more than 300,000 patients.
The "blue pink purple" vision is a direct Viagra side effect(3% to 5%) meaning the clear cause of it. If it will be a less or more serious problem is still a quetion to be answered in the future.
Padma-Nathan recently in a Fox channel was talking about Viagra (I have not confirmed this, I read it in the HVSF thread) and gave results of 40% to 80%, much restrained and less bullish than before when he was only talking the higher number. Viagra, if approved, will take the mild cases and the psychogenic ones, the rest is for Muse, and worst cases will be for the injectables. |
