koan, I know that stuff is happening.

Every time I read about the latest car bombing in Iraq at a market or a coffee house my first thoughts go to the average person living there.

It's hell on earth for those people.

But I don't have any idea what we can do about it.

I'm pretty sure the Saudis, Qatar and Dubai are funding it but I don't know what WE should do about it.

If you put up stuff like that then you should add some commentary offering YOUR solutions...
