Ron,

I agree with you that there can be some profitable oil and gas companies working in NZ. Geologiically there will never be big, elephant type reservoirs found in NZ. Why is not NZ self sufficient in oil if there are such large, massive fields there?

The big corporate companies are down there because NZ is stable, good infrastructure and the NZ Govt is really encouraging companies to drill down there. NZ desparately wants to be self sufficient in oil.

I have said my piece, and I hope that I shall be proven wrong. I am just sick of the hype about massive NZ potential oil resources. I don't believe they exist.

If NZ could become self sufficient in oil for 20 years, the NZ government would be thrilled!!!
