All US need do is take water from any border lake.. what is Canada going to do,.. We lost our sovereignty with the Avro Arrow.. lake of the Woods or Superior if the Mississippi gets into more problems.. Solve some aquifer issues thereabouts ? of course that's an agricultural issue too.. from fertilser runoff.. which is not gonna stop... Only defense Canada would have would be nukes.. and that would never fly wit the US.. would it.. We built the Rideau Canal in the 1830s to offset real and perceived worries about a belligerent US.. Why do you think we built the Trans Continental railroad ?

surely with today's technology US could get the water from Lake of the Woods or Superior to the Mississippi.. ? or do you think US citizens would stand for water rationing on a a massive level... so what do you think the US would do if they needed it ? Think about Canada's northern territory.. Once the ice melted.. US said screw you Canada it's open sea now.. who cares if it's with your norther archipelago .. Imagine if we decided to reduce the flow tot eh Columbia on Canada's side LOL.. Loss of water for irrigation.. potential. massive loss of hydro power ...

Besides US citizens likely have more firepower themselves than the Canadian army LOL of course US never tried to come up here before ..

A lot of the US history is written by Hollywood and John Wayne.. best was John Wayne as Genghis Khan.. that was funny,... of course it made GK's image better :O) I mean it was John Wayne..

Every country acts in its own interest first. and the bigger they are the more they can.. History can always be adapted into screenplay 'loosely based upon fact' :O) Didn't someone live in NA first ? Hey we're just as guilty.. just not as strong.. safe as long as our oath of fealty is maintained :O)..
