Lots of history of worker abuse in the early 1900's.

It was terrible.Unions got us the 40 hour workweek, overtime and safe working conditions.

I won't argue the role of unions 100 years ago. We are in 2013. There isn't a union in the U.S. that provides benefits that outweigh the liability. You always talk about the village and the tribe. Unions are a plague on the tribe and the village. They may benefit some individuals, but the screw the rest of us. Unions are business killers. They have killed entire industries in the U.S. In turn, the killing of those industries has killed entire cities.
