So, if liberals care about their fellow man, wouldn't that mean they would care about the results of public policy, and not merely the feelings they have implementing policy prescriptions? For instance, it's obvious the results in inner city K-1 through K-12 education are abysmal. They are terrible, yet liberals fight tooth and nail meaningful reform of the failed system they created and protect. Welfare may feel good to a liberal, but does it really help a person to provide a subsistence wage beyond say a year? Or does one care more when they exercise caring love and actually help a person move from welfare to meaningful work, while celebrating independence from government subsistence, or as the liberal does celebrate continued dependency?

And of course abortion is murder, especially beyond the first trimester. Do liberals show how much they care about the truly innocent when they kill and support the killing of our most helpless innocent children on such a grand scale?

Further, the free enterprise system has demonstrated the best sociological recipe of moving nations from poverty to prosperity, while reducing disease, starvation, homelessness and improving mankind's quality of life. Yet liberals believes government creates these conditions absent the free enterprise system and seek to attack corporations which create wealth on a continuous basis.

Caring means you often have to go beyond feelings and think.
