I don't dispute that there was a time and place for them,
I know. I've seen you say it before. I think that that's the one tiny chink in your armor amigo. We agree on far to much to argue about this detail. But it's obvious to me that unions were a bad thing right from the start. They are about power, coercion and extortion. In short, extortion. They try to give themselves the veil of legitimization of their existence by claiming they "negotiate". But using the power of the many against the few isn't a negotiation.

They have all, every single one of them, been destructive to our economy. Right from the beginning.

Wealth is a wonderful thing. But unfortunately, it allows us to veer from standard morality. It allows us to veer from free markets and freedom. We seem to always set ourselves back when we begin to prosper. We don't seem to learn a permanent lesson from our mistakes.
