Thanks to Dennis, Pete and Gary D. for all the help in locating the San Jose Mercury News article. You guys were great.

FWIW, I can offer no opinion of what was said by Art Z in that article at this time

Art Z's comments as presented definitely leave a negative impression about something although I am uncertain as to what in particular. But I will not draw any conclusions at this point.

First, I do not know if his statements were in response to specific questions asked by the reporter or if thet were taken from a speech by Art Z. The reporter does not say. Secondly, I do not know if there was anything omitted of importance from his entire statement in the article. I see too much room here for Art to have been taken out of context.

I am left with many more questions than the article addresses. Does the softening relate to UTEK equipment or the market in general for chip-making equipment? What plan is he concerned about? The UTEK plan as a whole or certain aspects? Perhaps he is concerned with the industry plan.

With that said, I know from my geography classes that "de-nial" is not merely a river in Eygpt and I don't want to be found floating face down in a dead man's float grasping on to my UTEK shares. In that light, I will call UTEK this week and seek clarification and report back here.
