Do you think blacks are naturally lazy?

Seems more black American born men than any other group develop excuses to become lazy, to take the easy way out be it crime, drugs . Learning a skilled trade, learning how to manage your finances, learn to be their for you family be it your kids or elderly mother... We aren't all born to become big stars and the rhetoric of late doesn't help, nor did OJ or Rodney King. We all need to get over the excuses for the behavior

You sound like a parent. ;)

The good news is the black middle class has continued to grow but they move out and there are still no role models for kids with single moms working two jobs in the projects.. Koan can throw all the money in the world at the problem but it won't solve it just like throwing all the money in the world in the middle east spread democracy and to change their thinking won't do it either Ted..

They don't need any more role models...........the damn POTUS is black. Its not role models that they need but rather a viable way to break the poverty cycle. They [the kids] need a playing level that's more even.........schools that are the equivalent of white schools.........not a patchwork of garbage that's second or third rate. We spend as little as possible on this country's underclass.........just enough to keep them from rioting. Of course there are exceptions..........read this article:

Metros like MPLS and Seattle go the extra mile to try to reduce poverty and it shows.
