I agree with you. Peter Paul and Mary, Gordon Lightfoot, The Limeliters, Judy Collins, and similar are the best music. I don't like their politics, but I can forgive them for that.

I too have seen PP&M twice. Also Don Williams and John Denver. I saw the Limeliters once. New Christy Minstrels, Glenn Yarbrough.

These people stood up on the stage with only themselves and their instruments. Nowadays musicians think they need fireworks and to leap off the stage into the arms of their adoring fans.
