Below is the location of an Arthritis Center that speaks for 7 Regional Arthritis centers in the midwest ....
hsc.missouri.edu
Each regional center is in a DIFFERENT state.
I have noticed this weekend that SYNVISC is heavily inter-SMERCHED with EDUCATIONAL and REGIONAL facilities in Canada. There is even a course offered on it at one of the Universities. (When to use - how to use. I did not keep the URL)
As a mkting time saver .... it would be a great move on AHP's part to facilitate SYNVISC studies at these 7 Regional Centers.
The primary end point would be to provide SYNVISC to 50 O/A patients at EACH center free of charge for 1 full year. It would give the medical doctors there - INSTANT STATUS (IMO).
In addition, I imagine this would engender interest in SYNVISC at several levels including the educational level, newspaper level, and most importantly the CONSUMER LEVEL. IOW it would quickly get SYNVISC VISIBILITY in the MIDDLE of the country.
Sort of a country doctor KNOWS more about current products than the big city slickers in CHICAGO, DETROIT, MILWAUKEE kind of Cary Grant movie thing ....
I have sent several EMAILS to BIOX and AHP about various topics and I do not want to ware out my welcome <G> etc. (note:no one has EVER responded to me although I addressed them to specific people or VP Marketing etc. when I did not know the name)
so ...
If anyone on this thread knows directly, indirectly, round-aboutly, inspecifically, and so on, anyone at AHP, and if you see any value in this idea, variant of this idea, and so on - please feel free to pass it along.
Based on prior posts I think Synvisc is probably most recognized on the West Coast. And seeing as AHP and BIOX are on the East Coast they probably will cover it pretty well.
Lets go get the middle of the country.
