I can understand his concern with the free dissemination of ideas. What if free and uncoerced dialogue should result in a consensus that genocide and rape are not things to boast about, but rather to be condemned? What if the demon theory of medicine and the appeal to superstition should give way to a Scientific approach to curing ailments?

If people cannot do the right thing and preach the truth of the bible and the falsity of all other religions and all other thought--then they should be burned alive...so they do not corrupt others or threaten the legitimate power structure established by God himself for His Obedient and WORTHY Chosen People.

It is simple logic.
