That's because God is a magician, not a creator. At least that's how I interpret arguments creationists use.

I hope I do not offend anyone with this assertion.

I believe God is so vast, so powerful, so wonderful as to be beyond the understanding of mere science and mere religion. The sum total of all scientific knowledge does not suffice any more than ancient stories handed down around the campfire and in the cathedrals and altars of old.
I never understood why god wasn't smart enough or powerful enough to create evolution.
