I made the original post and you are correct, it is a "movement" in the closing TRIN from one day to the next. According to the article I read (and posted to Richard) a change of 30 from one day's closing TRIN to the next is a very good short term indicator for the DJIA. If the change is 30 or more to the upside, then the DJIA would be called weaker for the next day. If the difference is 30 or more to the downside then the call would be up.
