OFF TOPIC for rrman: glad you liked it. if you like harper's, you might enjoy the writing of lewis lapham, who is the editor in chief of that mag. i believe his latest book is called something like hotel america: notes from the lobby of the fin de seicle (i undoubtedly mangled that title)... he's sort of a crotchety old man, and i disagree with much of what he says, but he makes for interesting reading. if you want some good commie propaganda magazines, my favorite is mother jones, which is well-written though often too self-righteous (no duh), and maybe the nation, which really does read like a commie propaganda magazine sometimes. i'm not as far left as either of these two, but they always make me think and challenge my assumptions. good reading and good trading.
