CONCLUSION: Fair-playing field for individual investors.

To all, let's shelve the discussion for just tonight. I can't get access to my e-mail account right not, but I've been meaning to start 2 new threads: one on digital VCRs and the other on the fair-playing field idea.

Once the thread is up and running, I'll post and we can all convene there. It makes sense to petition for a law requiring equal access to information. I would be in favor of a two-stage requirement. All companies which have a web site as of June 1998 would be required to comply by Dec 31, 1998. All other companies (depending on criteria like market cap) must comply by some later date.

But for now, lets concentrate on QNTM on this thread and save the good ideas for the new thread. If you have definite ideas, e-mail me and I'll incorporate or edit them for the thread header statement.
