I am so honored to know Mike Linnane, and I consider it a real privilege to have been able to spend a few hours talking to him in person a few years ago. We've heard about his service in the military, and also about his farm and his special relationship with the Montagnard people. The link below contains a video where you get to meet Mike and a few of his friends up close and personal. As I watched, I got a tear in my eye. In my opinion, we are all very lucky to know this man.

The world has never seen another fighting force like the American Military.

Maybe what sets them apart is the way so many in it see what they do not as a temporary assignment, but as a lifelong vocation.

Former Green Beret Mike Linnane who served in Vietnam, didn't let his retirement stop his dedication to the cause he served when he was on active duty.

Linnane helped found an organization, funded by Special Forces veterans, that has brought nearly 10,000 Montagnards to America.

Linnane was recently inducted into the Special Forces Hall of Fame at Ft. Bragg."
