I will never understand the thinking behind picking that particular case to create a media sensation. There must be a genuine case of a race based heinous crime somewhere in the USA that could have been used to garner public outrage, which is obviously the objective. This is a major a set back to the decades old movement to achieve equal opportunity for minority populations. It is a harsh, in your face declaration that once entitlements are declared there can be no accountability for wrong doing. That particular position is simply doomed. What Trayvon attempted to do was wrong at a very base level.

No murder here, no manslaughter, no racism, there was only self defense in a deadly attack from and obvious thug. The innocent child angle was well spun but the contradicting facts are just too blatant to deny for very long.
