If you were or have read Koester's book, you would see that he was a communist and what he has supposedly developed about the historical aspect of the Jews is theory (he himself said it was theory in the first few pages of the book) I read this book at Emile's suggestion. Emile failed to inform me that Koester was a communist. I said then that I felt that he (Emile) had been duped. He will go to that statement and post it for all to see, I'm sure.
Frankly, this stuff has been covered over and over and over again. Any time we mention praying for the peace of Jerusalem, of express concern for the plight of the Jews, invectives invariably follow.
One of my dearest and best friends is a "completed Jew." Hiw love for Yeshua is astounding. My friend was a third generation of raised Jews in Egypt of all places---he got out of Egypt through a sensational miracle and finally got all of his family out---they had not had any citizenship for three generations---citizenship for the Jews in Egypt was forbidden.
What a proud moment it was for me to be with him when he was sworn in as an American citizen. His countenance was aglow! LB (my Jewish friend) is a phenomenal witness and soul-winner. He would throw his hands in the air at the direction of this discussion.
God has made his COVENANT with the Jews/Israel.
