Very poor uneducated whites are also isolated, don't move and rarely if ever travel to experience different places. Both of these groups make up the base of both parties and neither trusts the other. Instead their real enemy should be the Plutocrats. Both bleeding heart liberals and right wingers play into this feeding frenzy dividing us further IMHO I don't disagree that the capitalist elite in this country are detrimental to the welfare of this country. However, I can't agree with attempts to paint the two parties as being the same. There are some very distinct differences between the bases and consequently the agendas for each party. I am not saying that the Dems are perfect........far from it.......but I don't see the same level of ignorance, corp. worship, corruption and entitlement found in the GOP. Its why I stopped playing the independent card in 2008. There are certain times in a country's history when straddling the fence is not a good move. I think we are in one of those periods.
