Wait:

"Cymer only has four customers who basically know now many Cymer lasers they
will need six months to a year in advance. They were not going to get new
customers at Semicon! They talk to the entire market for their products on a day to
day basis."

You seem to be missing a major point: ALL DEVICE MANUFACTURERS WHO PURCHASE DUV STEPPERS ARE EITHER CYMER CUSTOMERS OR KOMATSU/LP CUSTOMERS.
