There are many questions about Jesus's life, as described in Biblical accounts (of many different versions), that remain factually unsettled and or a matter of great debate. Given the prosecution of Christians by the Romans (thankfully inconsistent) what is miraculous to me is that Christianity survived to become a world religion. Many modern Christians take the approach that the factual questions/inconsistencies about the physical Jesus are not as important as the tenets of the message he preached and teachings thereof--thru parables and sermons. They maintain this is the heart of the "gospel" that will lead one to lead a life of greater fulfillment here on earth and this is its own reward. As for the rest---it is a matter of faith and one can believe this part or not.
