Ah, straddling the fence is right. But you don't know why.
I just can't see people who love the Lord and do live for Him and probably will all be together for eternity at each other's throats on earth for doctrinal points of view. You just cannot comprehend how many humans died horrible deaths during the 500 years of the Inquisition because one set of leaders didn't like the exact verbal descriptions of the Trinity, for instance, voiced by the Cathar church in 12th century France. The Pope did not agree.
I just see the same little hints of what started that in us sometimes, and there is nothing I won't do to avoid it.
I have NOTHING against Emile and Robert. I will discuss things of God with anyone, but until they insult Jesus Christ in some way, I cannot get even vaguely upset with them. I believe Robert and Emile think I'm not being true to my Lord right now. So how can I get mad at them for that? That's only natural.
I know there has been a complete break in thinking here, as shown between Lee Bush and Robert. Besides, I see no sin in believing the Old Covenant is completely gone or being very vocal and pushy about it. The OLD COVENANT IS GONE.
But God did not at the same time banish Isreal from His Mind. That's just rediculous to me too.
But in any way to break fellowship with Nancy and Alan over it, well........that's getting into tricky areas I think are not pleasing to God, to say the least.
So, I'm going to continue to pray that things all of us should know and accept about this very old struggle being discussed are brought to light, per scripture. I've already learned a ton today.
Sweet dreams all. |
