Aldrin Resources (ALN-V) appoints Cookenboo VP of exploration
Aldrin Resource Corp. has appointed Dr. Harrison Cookenboo, PhD, PGeo, as vice-president, exploration and development. Dr. Cookenboo has nearly thirty years experience in mineral exploration and development in multiple commodities, including oil and gas, diamonds, gold, silver platinum group elements, base metals, and potash projects from around the world. He is currently a registered Professional Geologist in British Columbia, Ontario and Saskatchewan. Dr. Cookenboo first became involved in the Triple M Property when Aldrin requested that he complete an independent technical report on the property to the standards of Canadian National Instrument 43-101. After completing the independent 43-101 report, Aldrin asked Dr. Cookenboo to design and implement the field program exploring the Triple M Property. Under his direction, Aldrin has compiled historical data in the area, and identified encouraging parallel bedrock conductive anomalies from their proprietary VTEM airborne magnetic and electromagnetic survey. The field program will continue with surface radon sampling and surficial sediment mapping in August and September, with drilling planned for January, 2014. Aldrin's CEO Johnathan More states, "We are proud that Harrison has accepted our invitation to lead Aldrin's uranium exploration effort as Vice President, Exploration and Development. His extensive experience in both sedimentary systems and bedrock exploration have contributed to the insight he has provided us at each step of our program exploring the Triple M Property." |
