Ford did it because it made sense. 40 hours is reasonable.
Well this is brand new for you! Until I told you that the forty hour work week was a gift of the free market, you never said anything like this.

So tell us, WHY did it make sense when Ford implemented the 40 work week, and not before?

You must know why it made sense, or you wouldn't have said it. Why do you say it made sense back then?
