Unless they are proposing something radically new, you already have
all the necessary hardware. You will need to purchase or download
the BIOS to a floppy and then run an install program. The hardware
into which the BIOS executable code is loaded is flash ROM - the old
BIOS is erased from the flash ROM by running a small voltage charge
through the ROM and the new program is installed similarly. All this
is taken care of by the install pgm.
