To Gregg and All-

The New York Times, on Saturday, December 6, 1997, in the Business Section, carried the following article, (headline):LOFTS SEED BEING BOUGHT Las Vegas, Nev., Dec.5 (Dow Jones)-AGRIBIOTECH Inc. has agreed to acquire LOFTS SEED Inc. of Winston-Salem, N.C. for about $17 in cash and $17 million in stock. Under the deal, Agrbiotech shares, which were priced at $8.50 a share at the time of the agreement. Lofts Seed and its affiliated companies, which include Sunbelt Seed and Budd Seed, have combined annual sales of about $75 million. -end-

The first point of significance is just making it into the NY Times. I'm sure you all know the motto of the paper is "All The News That's Fit To Print"

On a more serious note though, ABTX has been mentioned twice this week in national newspapers, Investors Business Daily and the NY Times. ABTX a company that's beginning to get noticed. I am sure these two , albeit small, articles, have caught the attention of at least some analysts who had never had much reason before now to know about ABTX. With the excellent prospects of a 2 1/2x sales growth increase in 1998, it will likely get more and more media coverage in the coming months. Perhaps ABTX will even be picked up by one or more national brokerage firms sometime in 1998. IMHO, (and maybe not so humble), this is a time for initiating or adding to positions.

regards,
glen
