and what happened after the brief spike in sales from cash for clunkers? oh yeah, there was a dramatic dropoff in sales. In other words, it robbed future sales for immediate gratification. Anyone who understands business knows that you don't want spikes in sales. it's better to have steady growth. Further, the stimulus money, where does it come from? oh yeah, it comes from us. So, they are going to take money out of our pocket in order to give it back to us so that we can spend it....huh? where is the stimulus in that?
