Yes, I've never read anything that indicated for sure what day Jesus was born on, but figured if it was important, God would have inspired one of the writers of the Scriptures to have included it in the Bible.

Thanks for the birthday wishes.

Guess you know that emminent scientists and statisticians have analyzed all data and determined that birthdays are healthy - Based on the fact, buried in statistics, that the more birthdays a person has, the longer he or she lives.

I think that Ex 21:22 is merciful on God's part - to not require the death penalty for causing a miscarriage as a result of two men struggling and inadvertently doing something to bump a woman hard enough to cause it.

It shows that he (though he knows all) is allowing that the man's motive in the struggle was other than to do harm to the unborn baby, and thus in that case does not require life for life. (I assume that if "her fruit depart from her," the unborn baby died) However... it does leave open the possibility that the woman's husband would "lay upon him" who caused it an extremely severe penalty, possibly even death, depending on "as the judges determine."

If an abortionist would (but they don't, do they?) give serious consideration to that passage, he would find every reason to repent and pursue another occupation.

John
