Thanks for posting the entire article. It looks like one worthwhile action item is for investors to let the chairman fo the SEC know that we demand that we be allowed to think for ourselves and do not need the government or anyone else to protect us from free and equal access to investment information. How rediculous! That sounds like the attitude of the British to the colonists during the American revolution! "Those brutish uneducated peasants don't know whats good for them. They are too ignorant and would only get themselves into trouble if we gave them freedom. Better to let us appointed governors (Wall Street and Washington insiders) determine what is good for them (what investors need to know). They should be satisfied being loyal subjects."

I think its time for an "Investors Bill of Rights" and an "Investors Freedom of Information Act". Send letters and e-mails to that jackass at the SEC!

One day the internet will hopefully supplant the nedd for a lot of beauraucrats. Attitudes like taht of the SEC make me fume.
