So much a sociological cultural war of liberal vs conservative that involves ideologies of virtue made more sensitized by a heightened tension revisted on us all by the events of 9/11 & before. A seminal event which shed light once again on what cannot but remind us how fundmentalist religious beliefs lead to more ongoing perpetual distrust, blind hatred, continued conflict & damage. To that end the brumars would like to divert attention & devise as many distractions as they can from their own extreme religious beliefs that share in the cause of such events & it all happening in the first place.

To all our mutual despair, we see fundamentalists striving so hard to destroy Christianity and Islam by turning religion into ideologies . The surveys still suggest that 29% of American Christians are so extremist in their exclusive Creationist beliefs that they fall well outside even the accepted bounds of Christianity and are dangerous.

Lord Carey the former Archbishop of Canterbury put it all rather well here, not all Christians are whack jobs like greg or brummy who would be just as comfortable sitting on the other side of the fundamentalist aisle as their own

Creationism is the fruit of a fundamentalist approach to scripture, ignoring scholarship and critical learning, and confusing different understandings of truth
