It makes no difference whether I know who sold the shares or their reasons. The financial reality is, with this amount of shares sold to the public, it will take millions for 3COM to buy back these shares from the public to support their employee stock option plan. If they don't, 3COM's EPS will suffer big time. I don't know how many ASICs or modems they have to sell to make up for this.

It is apparent that the insiders have hidden information that public investors don't know, and they use this information to their advantage while at the same time lie to the public about their business condition.

The evidence is weighted heavily against 3COM. I think there is great possibility that 3COM will lose on this lawsuit or they will have to pay out of court settlement. This eventually will translate into loss of earning and big chunk of shareholder retained earnings will be gone.

I don't know much about investing in the stock market even though I have made more money by buying stocks than to invest in mutual funds. But common sense told me that executives who uses their company's stock to make money for themselves is the company you really want to stay out of it in a long run.

This company has had not one, but several lawsuits aginist it. I presume they will play down this on their 10Q by attaching just a "footnote" to it?

So you know it all about investing, big shot?
