Brian, no one buys the bottom tick or sells the top tick... frankly, no one really knows what this market will do from here, but i suggest you take a look at my two previous posts addressing the lack of participation among retail and institutional investors... we're now in August... September and October are historically the two worst market months of the year... I'm going to close out my long positions just another few points higher, precisely at 1707.90 in the September contract... and if 1707.90 doesn't stop this market, then i don't think any higher than 1740.90, but what's another 30 points after the incredible 1000 point SP rally... I don't care to chase this market much when the wind favors the bears... I have no problem waiting until after Halloween to buy again after the tax selling kicks in and is finally over for this year... GZ
