Courtney/Peter/Ron: I have made two statements that have set you off. The first was that the cholinesterase approach is proven. I can't help that you were unaware of work with the only agents that are approved for symptomatic relief of AD. The statement was factual. The second statement was that that a Sibia/BMY research program "addresses the underlying organic loss". I'll revise that statement to be more exacting..... the Sibia/BMY program addresses one of the proposed causes of the underlying organic loss. You said that I "feel no regret at posting these distinctly poorly informed messages". I say...... huh? You said "These are honest questions I have that will help everyone understand these issues and demonstrate you have a clear grasp of Alzheimer's biology." I say...... is there some reason why I am obligated to demo that grasp for you, had I ever claimed to have such? Cheers! Rick
