Tim, you know as well as I do the "involvement" of those 40 countries wasn't exactly that strong.

It was more like, "If you're going to do it then we'll support it but we won't send any of our troops or arms".

In 1992 it was a different story. Iraq had been the AGRESSOR against Kuwait and the whole western world was against that.

I think things would have been MUCH better if we had just gone in and taken Iraq in 1992 and put our OWN Sunni guy in charge.

Then moved things very gradually to democracy over a period of several years.
