Given that stocks are near all time peaks (looking at the S&P500 anyway), what methods or approaches are investors here using to identify potentially undervalued businesses? I recently read somewhere that Michael Burry in his Scion Capital days didn't use value screens for stocks, but rather read news constantly in his search for ideas, which I think makes a lot of sense. Anyone else regularly employ this, or other approaches rather than screening? And for those that screen, what tools do you find most useful/meaningful in terms of quality, depth etc.?
