Still, it isn't absurd on the face of it, although 1.5% would definitely be above what would be expected. See, in economics there is the concept of a "multiplier". Which is partially dependent on the velocity of circulation. The more often a given quantity of money changes hands in a given period of time, the greater the economic impact will be. So in the right hands the economic impact can be much greater than the money begin spent.

Really Tenchu, this is econ 101 stuff.
