I have the 2012 version of the Nexus 7 and now I have also the 2013 version of Nexus 7. They both are awesome and with the new Android 4.3, the 2012 is even faster than before (which was buttery smooth to begin with). However if you can afford the extra $80 or $100 ($150 on the deal I posted and $229 for the new one for the 16Gb or $170 versus $269 for the 32Gb version), I'd go for the new one. The new Nexus 7 screen is out of this world.
