Chris, I think the basic issue is that liberals are unable to comprehend the most basic analytical processes, while conservatives at least have that ability. Liberals are head-nodders, who once presented with a wild guess based on no factual evidence, will jump onboard and make a life of it.

Conservatives on the other hand, are more demanding of actual evidence before revising their entire way of living based on pie-in-the-sky nonsense.

The explanation is simple as that. Conservatives have an attachment to science; liberals have an attachment to conspiracy theories.
