No Jon, The news article concerned Japanese govt "eyeing" selling some of their bonds to bail out the banks... the gov't owns in excess of 225 billion US bonds. I have an automated clipping service which allows me to set up seach criteria on subjects of interest to me and "bank failures" is one such search... when I looked for the article this morning, it had dropped off. In the future, I will save the URLs (links) of anything I post out here and post it with the info... and that is a good policy for everyone! Sorry I can't get back the reference... it was on a major news wire. Regards, Bill
