Alan,

Typical Lickman style. 2 or 3 trillin cu. ft. is a reasonable deposit. No big deal. The Kapuni Field discovered in the late '60s of 1 trillion cu. ft is almost depleted and it could only supply a portion of the North Island gas needs. I stand with my statement that NZ, a country with only 3.2 Million people and the land area of Minnesota is not even oil or gas independent. So just how big are these deposits really in fact.

NZ has been drilling for oil and gas steadily since the '50s with many big oil companies and some small. This is all that they have come up with. Look at other oil and gas deposits developed in other parts of the world that have been developed in that time frame.

Lickman is right: THE FACTS DON'T LIE!!!!
