Simple math. 2-3% of a $4 trillion federal budget is $80-$120 billion! That's almost a hundred times more than $1.5 billion.

Every little bit helps. Cutting the federal budget isn't about finding one or two silver bullets, but rather going across the board and reviewing every single thing we spend money on.

This is just one example, but one of MANY examples of something we can cut without hurting the very middle-class Americans Obama claims he wants to help.

Even then, I'm not saying we should just cut aid to Egypt unconditionally. Just suspend it until there is a new government there that the State Dept. can consider legitimate, then make sure that new government can hold up their end of the deal.

By the way, you're really trying hard to excuse Obama's inaction on Egypt, even going as far as claiming that $1.5B in aid is but a drop in the bucket. Cause you know, deficits don't matter unless a Republican is in charge ...
