BOISE, Idaho, Aug. 2, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Micron Technology, Inc. ( MU) will host an analyst conference on Friday, Aug. 9, 2013. Mark Durcan, Micron's Chief Executive Officer, and other executive officers will present Micron's strategy, discuss the company's recent acquisition of Elpida Memory, Inc., and provide an update on current market conditions.
At the analyst conference, presentations by Micron officers will start at 10 a.m. ET. The analyst meeting will be Webcast, featuring live audio and slides, at micron.com, 10 a.m. -- 12 p.m. ET. A replay will be available via the Website until Sept. 9, 2013.

And next week, the annual Flash Memory Summit will be held in Santa Clara, from August 13-15. I doubt if there will be webcasts of any of the events, unfortunately.
Both events should be market moving for Micron in particular, and secondarily for Sandisk. Some equipment companies that have heavy exposure to memory (e.g., Lam) may also be affected. |
