I don't know. But don't worry about that sort of stability. The rigs work for major oil companies that always pay their bills. International rigs earn more money. Plus, if for some reason things get "unstable" a rig can up and move to another location.

There has been only one instance of a rig getting "confiscated", and that was by Iran about 15 years ago.
