MU beat out KLIC for top spot this week based on the big 0.77 increase in Nxt Yr earnings estimate to 1.76 which results in a PE of 7.9. Now let's see if Mr. Market notices. The estimates are still too low, IMO, barring of course a serious macro slowdown. cf my post from a few days ago-- Don, all analyst numbers for Micron right now are meaningless. I guarantee you that they will beat Q4 estimates handily and that next year estimates will rise handily. The Elpida and Rexchip acquisitions substantially change the internals of the company, and those combined with all of the "Going out of business" signs that have littered the DRAM sector over the past couple of years have substantially changed the landscape of the entire sector.
