Looking at the 12-2-97 PR:

I can see that Hewlett's leech process is twice as efficient as Skyline's regarding gold.I can also see that both Skyline and Precious Metal's lab in Riverside show Hewlett's leech yielding + 5 T.oz. Gold/ton.But how do we know that the sample didn't have [say] 10 T.ozgold/ton?Which would make the Hewlett process only 50% efficent rather than 100% efficent.Did Maxam use control samples that they knew contained exactly 5.25[to skyline] and 5.1 [to the Riverside lab]?
I'm still confused as to what [troy ounces/ton magnetic fraction(PPB) means.The negative numbers for Osmium and Ruthenium also leave me scratching my head. I'd appreciate your thoughts on the above.
