Well unless we have active military members monitoring this thread, OR, there is some internet data base that is keeping track of this all we will hear about probably is random anecdotal evidence. I think it would be useful to know what methodology the "Palms" guys used (how big their sample was, what percentage of soldiers interviewed where in combat units,. what were there questions like etc.). We know that when the Navy put women on ships sailors behavior changed (the "love boats" where so many female sailors got pregnant) so I for one, think, that when gays feel free to act like gays in the military there will be "effects". I can't predict what they will be or whether they will be positive or negative, but I would be surprised if there were not ripples in the ranks so to speak when, and if, that occurs.
