>> Let's see.........teachers make less than other professionals;

They make less than some, but far more than others. But their jobs are for a fraction of the work and are far less demanding.

Really....less demanding? You know this how?

And, as I pointed out last week, almost impossible to get fired from. So, they SHOULD be paid less, and a lot less than they are.

You have pointed out nothing. Its a rare moment when you are able to defend one of your positions on this thread.
Like most conservative, you hand out edicts..........demanding how you want things to be........and are totally ignorant of what the facts are.

I want schools to be run effectively and cost-effectively, like successful businesses. I want the employees, particularly teachers, to be held accountable for their actions and held to standards professionals are held to. And they should be paid based on performance; lousy teachers shouldn't get to stick around.

Dave, you are incredibly transparent.........so .why do you persist it telling us BS when we all know your true goal is to pay as little taxes as possible and you don't care how well things are run so long as you that goal. After all, the days of believing in the patriotic conservative who cares deeply about this country are long gone.
